Here at SERVPRO of Farmingdale/Massapequa we realize that the mitigation work is sometimes the easiest part of our job. More importantly a large part of our work is recognizing our customers' emotional needs. Customers in a disaster situation are not your typical retail customers. Quite often they have just experienced a traumatic event, whether it be a Fire, Flood, or some other type of disaster. We must always approach these situations with compassion, kindness, and sympathy. We should always keep in mind that their lives have just been affected and we are working in their personal space. Sometimes just doing your job isn't good enough. We must keep other people's feelings in mind and do our very best to keep them happy and comfortable. It's our job to TURN THAT FROWN UPSIDE DOWN.
